Description
1,000 Dreams Fund seeks a several freelance editors/bloggers to contribute to our growing site. If you love sites likes Refinery 29, Hello Giggles and Rookie Mag and are passionate about helping young women reach their professional dreams, we want you! This is a remote, project-based position. You will be compensated for each completed article.EXPERIENCE/INTEREST REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 2 years of editing experience for an online publication or blog (WordPress knowledge required)
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Experience working with freelance writers and the ability to manage remotely
- Understanding of how to create SEO-friendly and traffic-worthy content
- Passionate about millennial women's lifestyle including: academics, scholarships, career and pop culture and current trends.
- Interest in 1,000 Dreams Fund mission; understanding of our social good values and brand "voice".
DUTIES
- Write & edit articles words)
- Deliver clean copy-proofread and free of grammar/spelling errors.
- Edit content from our network of college bloggers
- Pitch ideas for future articles
