BIM Coordinator
My client, a major player within the global engineering industry, is now looking to recruit a high calibre BIM Coordinator with extensive knowledge and ability of managing the BIM coordination for the complex multi-disciplinary infrastructure scheme of the LTC, including managing and developing teams of other BIM practitioners. As an integral part of the LTC Information Management Team, you will work closely with the all other disciplines in LTC and HE.
Responsibilities:
- To facilitate the various design team's compliance with the LTC BIM Standards
- To managing and deliver on time, to budget the visual support of the project designs to the various internal stakeholder
- Working with others to create, check and assure the 3D, 4D and 5D outputs required and to keep abreast of technical developments of the BIM product to ensure LTC is using the relevant model
- To assure data sets to comply with the Clients and Projects Asset data requirements
- To enable the production of project documents that are compliant with project and industry standards
- To assist in the resolution of complex technical drafting and modelling issues
- By being a subject matter expert to provide support to other members of the drafting and modelling team
- To develop collaborative working relationships with all of the project leaders
- To develop an effective document management system which will include drawing and model registers
- To proactively engage in the project Legacy benefits work stream by ensuring it is considered in all decision making in the same way as cost, risk and time
- To look for ways to encourage innovative thinking around how to improve Legacy benefits
- To hold health, safety and welfare (HSW) as a key project value and to participate in the creation, development and implementation of HSW strategies by the project leadership team

Essential Experience:
- A proven communicator, self-starter, organised, driven to deliver
- Demonstrable experience in major project infrastructure delivery
- A subject matter expert in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks Manage
- Experience in adoption and the management of BIM processes from bid stage to final handover all under BS1192 and PAS 1192
- A track record of creating and managing BIM standards, methods and procedures
- Successful experience as BIM Coordinator or BIM Manager in a similar project environment
Desirable Experience:
- Degree qualified or equivalent qualification
- Experience of working with teams in local and overseas design centres
- BIM authoring tools
- Knowledge of UK highways design
