We have been engaged by a leading investment banking business who are looking for business analysts with MiFID II experience across a variety of work streams including algorithmic trading, clock synchronisation, best execution and pre/post trade transparency.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the delivery of multiple work streams - one of algorithmic trading, clock synchronisation, best execution and pre/post trade transparency - to comply with MiFID II requirements by January 2018
- Interpret and implement MiFID changes to create a new MiFIR
- Gather requirements from and liaise with Front Office business managers, legal, operations, sales teams and compliance
- Identify and raise issues within areas 'of concern'
- Process mapping of requirements, identifying and rectifying issues
- Documentation and communication/presenting of findings
- Work with third party vendors to assess product changes
- Regulatory reporting and making sure project stays within FCA guidelines
- Ensure regulatory requirements are in place and adhered to
Experienced required:
- Previous MiFID and regulatory change experience within one or more of algorithmic trading, clock synchronisation, best execution, pre/post trade transparency
- Capital markets product knowledge
- Track record in investment banking/big 4 consultancy
- Excellent communication skills
- Global experience (advantageous)
- Ex Big 4 consultancy experience (advantageous)
This is an initial 6-month contract role based in London, paying £500 - £700 per day based on experience.
