Description

Business Change consultant required by my client a global organisation based in Milan within the telecommunications sector. This is a initial 6 - 12 month contract with a negotiable pay rate depending on experience.

3+ years of consulting experience preferably telco-specific. Experienced at working within a team on complex projects. This should show a proven ability for planning and managing within larger and more complex long-term projects. Examples should include cases that where it is demonstrated that this management has significantly affected the related organisation and has delivered strategic benefits to the client and/or stakeholders.

Experienced in the all aspects of Business Readiness and Deployment practice. Ability to:
Define and manage readiness and deployment activities plan for Go-Live processes and procedures by employing best practice techniques which also includes the transition of interim and to-be for each business function
Ensure full awareness of a future deployment against impacted business areas
Ensure that impacted business areas are fully engaged in preparing for the effects of Business Change

Exposure to Benefits Management practice. Ability to:
establish the strategic and key operational goals of the project, and translate into a set of key business metrics
Translate these goals into measurable objectives - In other words, define targets for each of the business metrics
Track and manage the performance of the business metrics against the set targets throughout the project life cycle

Plus general consulting skills:
Experienced in the management of medium-term timeframes, team resource and project deliverables.
Must have proven ability to apply relationship management skills and to be able to build and own client and stakeholder relationships.
Demonstrable experience and capability in the delivery of key milestones and the achievement of quality gates within projects including multiple elements over a cross discipline.
Demonstrable experience of reviewing and presenting plans and options to management. Key to this is an ability to interpret complex technical information and present to a management level audience.
Proven ability to develop standardised/reusable models for use across differing work streams.
Ability to have the robust/difficult conversations with customer, third party suppliers and stakeholders.
Must have proven ability to produce clear and meaningful management reports, often regarding complex and technical information.
