Service Desk Agent

We are currently recruiting for our client, a global ICT services and solutions provider for enterprise, for a Service Desk Agent to join their business in Chertsey.

Position Title: Service Desk Agent
Position Type: 11 month fixed term contract
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Chertsey, UK

Responsibilities:
- First point of contact for all incoming service desk services queries
- Record all incoming problems and queries related to Shared (PC/Mobile) Applications, SAP, EDI, email and other local Systems
- Communicating with IT Contacts and liaising with technical teams for the speedy resolution of calls
- Attempt to resolve customer issues using Knowledge and Known Error Database
- Monitor and manage calls by chasing the specialist teams and customers where required to ensure resolution within agreed SLAs
- Produce Service Desk weekly/monthly statistics and reports.
- Perform administration tasks for the Portal service

Qualifications:
- 3 + years of experience in customer service/helpdesk support, PC/Mobile application support experience will be an advantage
- Basic knowledge in Ticket (VOC) management system in WEB/EDI/ERP services
- Experience of MS Office/Windows OS/IE WEB Browser
- Customer approachable attitude and a customer focused proactive person
