Our client is a global brand based in the City of London looking for an Enterprise Data Analyst Developer. They are looking for Asset Management experience ideally.
The Role:
-Providing data expertise through analysis and requirements capture
-Designing and implementing enterprise data and reporting architectures as well as data integration
-Being an expert in data sourcing, and how it flows in the organization.
-Influencing architecture and solutions teams working on business transformation
-Devise solutions aligned to architectural and operating model strategies.
-Critically examine existing processes to improve efficiency and reduce risk
Qualifications Experience & Skills & Knowledge:
-Exposure to the Asset Management or Banking sectors
-Educated in a technical, numerate and analytical discipline
-OR equivalent professional qualification (e.g. IMC, ISEB, Prince 2, Agile, MS SQL Server, .Net).
-Strong abilities in business and data analysis skills
-Proven experience in data modelling, database design, ETL principles and data quality
-Sound database skills in T-SQL and SQL Server (or advanced experience in Oracle and PL/SQL)
-Good knowledge of Excel and XML
-Good understanding of the data required to support functions within the investment process
-Broad understanding of asset management functions including Front, Middle and Back Office
-Strong Knowledge of the investment process and full trade life cycle
-Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables
-An appreciation of Data Governance best practices in the financial services industry
-Understanding of stakeholder analysis and management
-Experience working with Enterprise Data Management (EDM) platforms (i.e. Markit EDM, Eagle PACE, GoldenSource, Informatica etc), while Markit EMD development experience will be highly desirable.
-Good knowledge of project life-cycle
- Familiar with development methodologies including both Waterfall and Agile
