Hi, Thank you all for interest:Budget: 267 USD (250 Euros) for 8 pages (about 33 USD per page) plus more if we get published or crowdfunded.
I recently looked for an artist for a story about a boy who grew up in forest among forgotten gods and what happens after he leaves that forest. I'm going to try and crowdfund it.
What I'm here today is to offer cooperation not on that story but a few short stories I have written to introduce myself and the 'universe' of the mentioned project.
The idea is I write a few stories and for each story I hire different artist, we all promote each other (each story) on social media and so on, so all of us together stand a good chance to 'pull' enough people on kickstarter, or Indiegogo or something like that. When you apply be sure to mention if you have already been published, or do you have audience build up via social media or blog or anything like that since I find marketing rather challenging and it can only help if you can reach some people to make them check out our comic.
Regarding money: I'm paying this out of my pocket, so while I'm aware that you might deserve more, I mean no disrespect but this is what I have. When you apply be sure to tell me how much are you willing to offer for back end deal. For example if you could do full color, and then if we get funded I'll pay you more to match your price. Even if you are willing to color just one page for a back end deal, mention that. This is all in effort to attract more people, to get funded.
The story:
'Eternal Places: Heaven is Forever'
Regardless what you believe in, forever is a long time even if you're doing what you love the most. I personally don't believe in souls but I find it interesting concept for writing, and this story is one of the ways I imagine 'forever' to be a torture, even if it's in heaven.
