Java (J2EE) Developer Payments contract Dublin 6-12 months.
My client a leading name in their global industry is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Java (J2EE) Developer to join their group on a contract basis.
Candidates will help the Payments team in establishing a market-leading IT Payments services capability to service internal and external consumers of my clients Payments services. You will take a key role in the development life cycle with supporting tools, frameworks, processes, policies and standards that ensure the high-quality provision of Payments services to my client and their customers. You will be expected to Deliver high-quality coded solutions in required technology families, platforms, functional and industry domains using prescribed tools, frameworks and technologies.
Successful candidates will have 5+ years of commercial experience. You will have a deep understanding of software engineering concepts and objectives. You will have strong knowledge of Core Java, J2EE, ORM Frameworks (myBatis, Hibernate etc), Web Services/REST, Messaging APIs (JMS), Message Brokers (MQ), DI Containers (Spring). You will also have a knowledge of database technologies eg Oracle, DB2 and Knowledge and/or understanding of formal Application and Systems Development Approaches and Best practices. Candidates will have a familiarity with design patterns such as MVC, EJBs, IOC, Factory.
