Description

Our client, a leading Banking organisation, is looking for a Junior Copywriter to join their team.
This is a contract position based in Newcastle/Knutsford running for an initial 3 months.

The Role:
Create and deliver brilliantly effective content for all colleagues/customers for the digital platforms, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure that the content meets all necessary commercial and editorial standards.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support the Colleague Content Team in delivering the transformation required across KIT pages
  • Create and produce brilliantly effective colleague/customer content differentiating the content found on KIT, through the superior content quality.
  • Ensure colleagues' needs are at the heart of every piece of content that is written.
  • Rewrite existing content using templates/adaptive content modelling:
  • Break content into reusable, well modelled components
  • Make content - manageable, consistent, clear, semantic and of a high quality
  • Utilise modelling guidelines breaking content into information types - reference, principle, concept, task and process
  • Ensure that all copy is of the highest editorial standards, written grammatically, with maximum impact and free from all typographical and other errors
  • Ensure all content is consistent with their tone of voice, house style and DDA guidelines
  • Interpret and ensure appropriate and accurate application of brand guidelines in the copywriting process.
  • Be organised yet flexible to leverage content channel specialism and Omni-channel content development. Do this by managing relationships with the Content Creation Team.

Essential Skills:


Qualifications/experience:

  • Will be degree-level qualified (be it university) or industry-based qualifications/experience or
  • Will have a broad experience of delivering content outputs and creative delivery for other organisations (3-5 years' experience as a digital copywriter).

Industry Experience:

  • Extensive copy writing experience and experience of working in high performing teams.

Content Marketing Delivery:

  • A broad and extensive experience of delivering content outputs and world-class creative delivery for large-scale organisations.
  • Have excellent written and interpersonal skills.
  • Be skilled in writing clear, concise and grammatically correct content

Planning:

  • Proven experience at translating business objectives and targets in to deliverables.
  • Able to develop a plan and convert this into tactical execution.
  • Be able to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively.
  • Be highly self-motivated and well organised.

Results Focus:

  • Track record of delivering result, prioritising opportunities and activities.Interpersonal skills:
  • Works well in a team.

Subject Knowledge:

  • In content disciplines and its impact on our Colleague, Customer & Client experience.

Colleague Focus:

  • Instinctive approach to matching colleague needs with Content opportunities.
