Description
ETL Pentaho Developer is required by a leading global organization for a urgent crucial project.
Must Have
Engineering or Master's degree required and should have excellent, consistent academic credentials.
Experience with Kettle/Pentaho Data Integration
Experience in creating re-usable components in Pentaho.
At least 2 complete end to end implementations of Pentaho Data Integration tool
Experience in any of the databases (relational or non-relational) Eg. MySQL, HP Vertica etc.
Comfortable with the basics of a Linux/UNIX commands
Expertise with all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation
Version Control experience
Preferred
Experience in software development life cycle.
Experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
Experience in Design and architecture review.
Ability to work in team in diverse/multiple stakeholder environment
Experience to Retail/Financial domain.
Experience in Product Development organizations.
Analytical skills
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
Experience in using HP Vertica database.
In this role, you will:
Design, develop, code, test and deliver re-usable ETL solutions using Pentaho
Communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members.
Create/Update design documents.
Work in an Onsite -Offshore delivery model.
Participate in design sessions, work on solutions and present them to customer.
