Hatstand, a global financial consultancy, has a fantastic opportunity for a Solutions Engineer at a Top Investment Bank in the city.
The core of the role is automation of manual processes and checks to make the tool seamlessly integrate with existing applications and data sources. This is an exciting opportunity to enhance the new application, improve integration with enterprise tools and create new features.
The successful candidate will be motivated and focused with experience in Python Scripting. Good interpersonal skills and effective project management are also critical for the role.
Core Responsibilities:
* Capture user stories and gather requirements from all our onboarding stakeholders
* Develop scripts to enhance the tool's capabilities to automate the onboarding process
* Working collaboratively within the global Tradeplant team and a number of business and operational risk stakeholders
Mandatory Skills:
* Has 3 or more years' python Scripting experience with experience in Django framework
* Good operational knowledge around Unix
* Good SQL database experience (Oracle and MSSQL)
* A history of working effectively in a team alongside other specialists
* Openness to receiving feedback and constructive criticism
* Willingness to help teammates, share knowledge and experience and learn from others
Nice to have:
* Experience of Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, ITSM and their APIs
* Experience of JavaScript charting libraries (d3js/chartjs/highcharts/morris)
* Client-side programming experience (JavaScript, and/or associated frameworks such as Angular, Query/jQuery UI etc.)
* Knowledge of HTML5 and modern CSS
