Demand Manager/Service Integration Manager: ERP IT, Pharma
My client, a world renowned pharmaceutical organisation is seeking an ERP IT Service Integration Manager for Demand Management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for;
* Support the ERP IT Demand & Service Integration organization for the purpose of budget planning and management, business case building, project portfolio management and demand management planning
* Coordinate project & portfolio management excellence by ensuring transparency of providing services, support governance processes and toolset that enable the organization to more efficiently manage demands, gaining in demand flexibility where needed while achieving its standardization and being compliant
* Be involved into the alignment, across global functions, of the current multiple ways of managing demand and support any initiative to prepare the to-be demand model, leveraging process and tool best practices, sharing information and demand standardization where relevant
* Manage the tool landscape of the demand management and planning area by being a go-to player in the administration, training and support of demand toolset, promoting tool best practices where applicable
This role therefore presents a unique opportunity and challenge to be in a strong execution influencing role, customer facing as well as act as a demand management key point of contact during critical demand management milestones such as annual budgeting, ongoing demand reporting (KPI delivery) and project portfolio management and optimization.
Accountability Areas
* Participate, execute and support the establishment of a sustainable demand governance model including process (eg RACI) and tools within ERP IT and supporting all functional areas where ERP IT has responsibility for, ensuring effective collection, prioritization, resource planning and budget management
* Support the ERP IT planning process for ERP IT Business Partners, ensuring sound business cases and analysing key business initiatives and informational needs that support, improve and/or transform business operations, processes and strategy
* Facilitate demand management meetings between Business and IT, providing necessary data, reports and context to these discussion to enable quick/timely decision making
* Support ERP IT Business partners in the setup of demand reporting portfolio (KPIs) to allow them to proactively manage the investment portfolio to deliver the agreed capabilities including solution concepts and business cases for new investments where applicable
* Be a key player in the execution and support of the demand processes and toolset which support the demand management governance within ERP IT, from unplanned demand to strategic demand including annual demand, project and enhancement requests
* Propose ideas, ways of improving, managing existing demand process, proactively joining effort with other functional areas leveraging opportunities of sharing, re-using best-practices and standardizing
* Be a recognized Subject Matter Expert in the setup, administration and support of selected demand tool landscape
Skills and Experience
* At least 3 years of experiences in the areas of project and demand management or first experience in the conceptual/design area of demand management and planning including process/toolset exposure and support
* Prefer to have Life Sciences industry experience
* Customer Orientation: ability to communicate with key stakeholders
* Hands-on, analytical and pragmatic, can deal with changing priorities at times, ability to work on his/her own
* Methodology: savvy in IT process, best practices & standards, eg ITIL
* GxP/SOX: sound knowledge of validation practice and Financial and IT control standards
* Ability to cope with complexities, ambiguities and Matrix organizations
* Ability to operate out of "comfort zone", having an "Own It All" mentality
