Hatstand, a global financial consultancy, has a fantastic opportunity for a Continuous Integration/Delivery Engineer at a Top Investment Bank in the city.
As part of platform modernization and revamping SDLC platform, we are adopting various products for Continuous Integration and Deployment. The candidate will work hands on with this products and drive adoption across various groups within the Bank.
Qualifications
* 6 + years as a software developer with an expertise in designing and developing web services for scalable and complex systems with Java, Python, C++ or C#
* 2 + years managing, diagnosing and debugging problems across multiple disciplines.
* Experience in devops or software engineering with a strong operational focus.
* Automated management of tens or hundreds of Servers using common configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet or Chef
* Experience with one or more configuration management tools and how to leverage them within application management and deployment processes with Chef, Puppet or Ansible
* Prior experience working within a global teams.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
* Strong technical skills, including fluency in one or more modern languages such as Python, or Java; a deep knowledge of Linux; and a passion for building and improving scalable and highly-available systems.
* Platform Engineering Team supports their global team of Customer Delivery Engineering, Product Engineering, and Support and Operations by creating consistency in: Automation design, templating, common library development; Process engineering, best practices development.
* Contribute to refining and improving processes around customer service, development and deployments
* Platform build up and support for a given technology.
* Works directly with the Development and Production Support teams.
* Work hands on with on the continuous delivery platforms in Bank.
* Adopt best practice in the continuous deployment and integration platform.
* Ability to analyze results and efficiently communicating these back to the development team.
