Description
This highly visible corporation is seeking to hire a cross functional contract QA and testing lead to serve as a leader/mentor and work across all functions with QA teams. This individual will interact with development team to assist to understand architecture. Other duties include: review and understand business requirements and use cases; evaluate defects and oversee retesting; prepare test data; log defects with documentation using Jira or HP QC, and provide status reporting.
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 15 years of QA and testing experience, ideally with CSTE or QAI certification.
Other qualifications include:
2+ years of training and/or mentoring experience with a strong preference for service level testing experience, Selenium or SoapUI Pro background. Excellent organizational and communication skills needed. Must understand the full project life cycle, QA methodologies, and Agile, Kanban, and other methodologies. DevOps knowledge a plus.
