R&D Domain Expert/Beerse, Belgium/6 months Contract/Up To 79 EUR Per Hr

This position is part of the data processing solutions team, which focuses on the central data platforms for clinical studies. This platform is built upon and around SAS Drug Development (SDD) to deliver the user community (data managers of clinical studies) with an integrated process for study data processing, analysis and validation.

The candidate will be part of the team and deliver platform expertise, mainly based around SAS development activities and process improvements.

Responsibilities

Work independently on SAS programs to support our services: developing, reviewing and testing programs to deliver clinical study reviews and QC

Works on medium complexity projects. Ensures quality project deliverables as agreed upon with internal and external customers.

Defines and develops maintenance or enhancements in multiple areas of domain expertise.

Shares multiple domain expertise with IDAR Operations and CRO's to assure consistency and accuracy within process and functionality.

Assist in improving/developing departmental processes, SOPs and documentation

Provide programming training, presentations and support to colleagues

Participates in process, system, and tool improvement initiatives within IDAR business groups.

Participates in non-trials/non-program projects to gather information or provide guidance in multiple domain expertise areas.

Support audit and inspections as appropriate.

The services will be performed within the framework of GXP guidelines like system validation

Education/Experience

Minimal Bachelor degree in statistics, computer science or related

Proven experience with SAS in a clinical study environment

Proven knowledge of SDTM & ADAM standards

SAS drug development knowledge would be a plus

Knowledge and/or experience with Pharma R&D, and clinical studies in particular is required

Good understanding and experience with systems development processes

- Some flexibility in working hours is required

- Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision;

- Able to follow change management for internal guidelines.

Language proficiencies:

-English and Dutch spoken and written;
