Description
Platform Engineer required to work for a major ECommerce company in their sector. You will be focusing on the reliability, scaleability, stability and speed to market, championing continuous delivery and ensuring all standards are adhering to the company tech principles.
Core skills for the role will be good knowledge/understanding in the majority of the following:
- TDD, Agile (Scrum/Lean/Kanban), Iterative Development, Distributed Systems
- Desirable - Previous experience working in a high-transactional environment
- PaaS/IaaS
- Continuous Integration/Delivery, Networking
- Docker, Ubuntu, Linux, Mac/CoreOS
- SOA, HTTP, REST, JSON, TCP/IP, SSL, DNS
- JavaScript, NodeJS, .Net, JVM, Python
- Chef, Git
