Position Details:GoalGorilla is growing rapidly and we are, therefore, constantly looking for new coworkers to strengthen and expand our team. Our developers are divided into 3 fixed project teams. You are going to be part of one of those teams. Within this, you have a leading role, and will convey the knowledge and skills that you have gained to your coworkers. You are meticulous, the code you write is optimized, tested and safe. You will be occupied with developing various projects. You will get a lot of room to expand and develop your own initiatives. Your contribution is important and will have a big impact! Besides developing functionalities, you help think about the implementation of SaaS-software, as well as being occupied with the guidance and education of other developers.
Who are we looking for?
A new colleague gorilla who enjoys working in a multi-disciplined team. You have the courage to take a critical, problem-solving attitude in this. The combination of structural (SCRUM) meetings, tight planning/deadlines, but also a lot of freedom and flexibility in your activities, appeals to you.
Besides that, you satisfy the following requirements:
- A HBO/WO working level and intellectual ability
- Multiple years of continuous professional experience
- Willingness to travel to / work from a client location in The Hague and occassionaly between the Amsterdam and Enschede offices
- Solid knowledge of PHP
- Solid knowledge of front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS
- Good command of the English language (because of international customers and colleagues)
- Knowledge of GIT or a comparable Version Control System
- Knowledge of / experience with Drupal is a big plus
- Knowledge of / experience with SCRUM or Agile methods is a big plus
- Knowledge of / experience with SYmfony2 is a big plus.
- Knowledge of / experience with technologies / tools like Solr, Redis, Jira is a big plus
