We are looking for a Commissioning Manager for a public sector company based in Stockton -on- Tees.

Experience:
- Significant experience in commissioning, procurement or contract management
- Demonstrable track record in delivering complex targets and objectives to tight deadlines
- Proven track record of leading and contributing to effective commissioning processes across organisational and sector boundaries
- Experience of developing and implementing national policy
- Track record of successful working in a complex and contentious environment in a way that maintains effective relationships
- Track record of performance management and delivery of projects, targets, national policy implementation, change management.
- Ability to facilitate large groups ensuring objectives are achieved
- Experience of working across organisations and with other agencies
- In-depth understanding of lean methodology
JOB PURPOSE
A Commissioning Manager will lead and be responsible for planning, service reviews and leading the implementation of changes to care pathways.
The role will include responsibility for ensuring that key policy and service areas are addressed and will include all service domains.
Commissioning Managers will lead the following functions in relation to planning and service reform:
- Delivering and monitoring CCG delivery plans
- Agreeing investment and recovery plans with CCGs
- Managing services to ensure delivery of national and local targets
- Capacity planning and demand management
- Ensuring delivery of QIPP schemes including performance management
- Lead service reviews across a number of domains
Education/Qualifications
Professional qualification at Masters level or equivalent experience.
