We are currently recruiting for A Fixed Network Core Network Engineer to join their business in Chad.

Position Title: Fixed Network Core Network Engineer
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: March 2017
Duration: 6 months rolling

Responsibilities:
- Providing Engineering and Maintenance support
- Act as a Multi-Vendor Fix Network Planning manager
- Duties include Multi-Vendor Fix Network maintenance engineer related tasks
- Direct interface with customer for technical questions, project kick-off
- Weekly reporting and monthly maintenance reports
- Responsible for handling technical cases on ticket system and keep tracking these problems during the whole resolving process
- Responsible for network performance and capacity management, network change design, implementation and reporting internally and externally
- Weekly meeting with customer planning department

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of working experience and proven ability to diagnose and localise issues using logical analysis techniques
- Familiar with fix network planning principle, experience of network planning and design in multi-vendor network
- Familiar with microwave, optical, VSAT and other traditional fixed network equipment from Huawei, NEC, ALU and EMC
- Good communication skill, sensitive about the network risks
- Experience in working in close contact with customers, internal business units
- Ability to perform job functions to standards under pressure of tense situations
- Ability to provide clear, written and verbal reports
- Willingness to take ownership of customer solutions and make them successful
- Must have a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Fluent communication in English (other languages: French will be an advantage)
