Description

Business Development Manager, Sales Manager

To support the acquisition and delivery of new contracts by providing support to potential customers across care services (Predominantly Telecare/Wireless call systems).

Develop relationships with potential new customers, partners and commissioners, both internal and externally.

To work with the Operational teams to deliver first class services at low cost, ensuring that the turnover and profit for the business increases in line with the Growth Plan assumptions.

Support the Bid Manager by overseeing tender opportunities within your target geography.

To contribute to all aspects of communication to customers, including regular newsletters, event attendance, case studies, promotional information and web content.

To negotiate new services with customers to maximise income on existing contracts.

To negotiate with potential customers to sell services and service enhancements.

To promote a professional and positive image of the business and its activities, at all times with external partners and all other third parties. To attend and represent the business at all relevant multi-agency forums and other meetings and develop effective relations with all partner agencies.

Experience required:

Sales skills including senior level negotiations with local authorities, Social care services or the NHS.

Beneficial (Non-essential) skills

Knowledge of all aspects of the Telecare and Telehealth markets, including but not limited to services standards, call receiving equipment and protocols.

Knowledge of the health and care markets

Knowledge and experience of the provision of 24/7 services

Understanding of the Local Authority Adult Social Care sector.

Experience of successfully winning public sector contracts. Sounds knowledge of public sector procurement processes and routines.

To hold a valid UK driving licence and be able to drive for work proposes.
