Description
Leading Global Solutions Provider requires a Senior Openstack specialist for a long term contract role based in Dublin.
You will help design and build a new custom SDDC deployment for a customer which will be based on Openstack, specifically VMware Integrated Openstack. Environments will be hosted both on premise and in Softlayer private cloud. You will design and implement tooling to make delivery quicker, the service more stable, and the Operations teams more capable of undertaking complex tasks - using Puppet scripts and manifests to deploy Windows and RHEL VMs, Middleware (JBOSS, WebSphere AS), IBM Tivoli, TSM.
Essential skills are
Openstack, VMWARE VCentre, NSX, Linux (Ubuntu and/or RHEL) and also solid knowledge of Automation/DevOps, Chef/Puppet, IBM Smart Cloud Orchestrator, IBM Tivoli Monitoring, IBM Tivoli Storage Manager
