Senior Operations Engineer- Build Readiness
A Senior Operations Engineer with Build Readiness is required to work on a six month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our defence client based in Cumbria.
This is a 6 month contract working with a leading UK defence company.
Overview of the Senior Operations Engineer contract role
The build readiness team is made up of a representative from each of the business functions and their key role is to ensure all pre-requisites have been completed in a timely fashion, to ensure the business is ready to commence build of the submarine.
Key skills required for the Senior Operations Engineer
- Good standard of education with A-C in English and Maths.
- The candidate will have worked on the latest submarine programme
- Experience of build strategy and the facilities that will be utilised to support the submarine build.
The role is based in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria - commutable from Carnforth, Milnthorpe, Lancaster, Morecambe, Penrith, Workington, Whitehaven and The Lake District
