BMS Controls Engineer - London

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for our Global Engineering firm

Servicing and maintaining BMS/Controls equipment associated with Building Automation Systems or standalone controls, maximising system performance and reliability, on static site London based with a split shift system and callout rota. No night shift

Key Accountabilities:
*Preventive and corrective maintenance to BMS Systems including Metasys, DX/TC and associated field equipment in key sites.
*Metasys knowledge is not a pre-requisite as training can be given.
*System performance/development.
*Customer development/satisfaction.
*Responsible for keeping up-to-date technical knowledge of JCS products/system development.
*Prepare detailed reports/technical communications on work carried out and submit to Contract Manager and site client.
*Be included in the out of hours standby rota

Dimensions:
*Interface with clients at all levels and across all locations.
*Good customer facing and service delivery skills.
*Good Team player and participant in emergency rota will be essential.
*Area Central London and surrounding areas.

Personal Experience/Qualifications/Skills:

*Ideally candidates will have as minimum BTEC or equivalent qualification in electrical or electronic engineering or appropriate job related experience
*Further qualification to HNC would be welcome/encouraged.
*Applicants will require 'hands on' experience in HVAC controls/systems.
*Applicant must have a thorough understanding of Controls theory related to the HVAC industry
*Applicant must be computer literate and have an understanding of basic software structure associated with BMS controls/PC Networks.
*Applicant must have a knowledge of MS word and Excel.
*Applicant must be able to understand electrical drawing electrical Drawings
