Lead Infrastructure Solution Architect (Cloud)
A Lead Infrastructure Solution Architect is required to report into the Head of Architecture to support a large Transformation Programme within a growing global business.
You must have a demonstrable track record in:
- Cloud Design and Architecture
- Oracle ERP
- Data Warehousing
- Windows (Azure or AWS)
You will support Data Migration from Datacentres in to the cloud. You will support migration and consolidations of Datacentres and of commodity services currently delivered within individual business units to a shared group capability, including file & print, data centre & hosting.
As Infrastructure Solution Architect you will also define, maintain and ensure the consistency of end to end technology solutions to satisfy Project and Programme requirements and align to the Technology Strategy and enterprise architecture, policies and standards for the business. In addition, you will create Solution Architecture and Design to effectively meet requirements and costs while maintaining integrity of the technology strategy. You will be expected to provide expertise across multiple projects throughout the programme and offer flexibility to assist where required.
Essential Experience:
- Cloud Design - (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) - designing, high availability and secure application hosting solutions in the cloud (Azure or AWS)
- Storage Design
- Network Design, Sizing and Capacity Management
- Security/Firewalls Design
- DC design, Capacity Planning and Optimisation incl. High Availability and DR Solutions
- Knowledge of Active Directory, .NET, Oracle, MS-SQL Server and Big Data
- App migrations/Data migration/Secure File Transfer
- Design of On Premises cloud solutions to delivery local applications and services (ideally with Hyperconverged infrastructure experience).
- Experience designing and supporting the deployment of security tools
- Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Threat and Vulnerability Management (TVM) integrated solutions, eg Splunk, Qualys
- Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platforms, eg CyberArk
- Role-based access controls (RBAC) and privilege account management (PAM) solutions
- Multi-factor authentication, endpoint security and encryption
- Database access management (DAM)/Data-centric Audit and Protection solution (DcAP), eg Imperva SecureSphere
- Firewall audit, assurance solutions, eg Skybox Firewall Assurance
