Job Description:
Genesis Government Solutions, www.genesisgovt.com, is looking for Independent Contractor Medical Transcriptionists, living within the contiguous United States, with a minimum of 3 years of acute care transcription experience in all specialties with knowledge of editing and straight transcription platforms.
NO OFFSHORE MTs NEED APPLY, YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Here is a sample list of report types we transcribe: H&Ps, Consults, Discharge Summaries, Death Summaries, Progress Notes, Procedure Notes, Operative Reports, EEGs, EMGs, EKGs, Echocardiograms, Radiology, Pathology, Emergency Reports, Outpatient Clinics of all specialties including ENT, Cardiology, OB/GYN, Ortho, Dermatology, Psychology, Family Practice, GI, Endocrine, Internal Medicine, Oncology/Hematology, Neurology, Infectious Disease, Pediatrics, PT, OT, Pain Management, Urology and other special reports and projects as needed.
Schedules that are needed are Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday, with shifts based on the needs of our clients.
Genesis offers MTs the ability to work from home with both high speed internet access and your own PC being a requirement. Genesis offers competitive line rates for both Speech editing and Traditional typing, with a mixture of the two.
Genesis assigns a primary and secondary account so that each MT can become and stay familiar with the dictators they transcribe day-in and day-out.
MTs hired by Genesis are required to have a CMT certification and/or sufficient (3 years acute care) and recent work experience, meet quality and line requirements with minimal need for QA of less than 5% per month, and maintain 98% or higher accuracy. Experience and familiarity with multiple platforms and EMRs is helpful such as Inscribe, iChart and Escription platforms, as well as a variety of EMRs.
