SAP VAT Logistics Consultant.
Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a SAP VAT Logistics Consultant to do a VAT Workshop.
Start: 8th March 2017
Duration: 3-5 days onsite
Location: Kuwait
Rate: Market rate + expenses
Scope of Tasks:
VAT Logistics Consultant
- What is the expectation from the workshop?
We need to know about,
1. required changes in Master data and how it can be done
i. Materials
ii. Vendors
iii. Customers
iv. Other masters
2. Required configuration in system process/procedure/parameters
i. Sales cycle ii. Order cycle
iii. Reporting cycle including VAT related reports, return filing
3. System check and controls available in the SAP system to ensure right VAT is properly charged and accounted.
4. If any such Standard templates and check list to ensure smooth migration and roll out of system.
5. Volume and complexity of work to carry out such system change:
- VAT is most often very near to Logistics related functions as well as Financials?
- Where do you want us to focus on?
- We need to cover full cycle with emphasis of logistic Module.
- What local specifics knowledge (legislation) is needed or do you have a reference country for VAT roll out ie Europe, Asia etc
Expecting legislation similar to Euro region with less complexities.
Further on rates, our expectation with only 3 type rates, %, exempted and zero rated. Similar to euro area, there will be transaction with in country, intra GCC with reverse charge mechanism, and export outside to GCC.
We further expect a facility for group level VAT registration with single VAT return at group level.
