Configuration Manager
Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Configuration Manager for a project in Skåne, Sweden.
Start Date: 13/03/17
End Date: 30/09/17
Rate: SEK/hour all inclusive
Role description:
Senior Configuration Manager (3-6 years experience)
Required:
- Local Resource located in Sweden.
- Excellent knowledge of software development configuration and change management
- Experience in configuration and change management methods and tools like GIT, Clearcase/Clearquest.
- Good knowledge of general IT concepts eg standards, infrastructure and platforms, frameworks and development methods.
- The patience and skills to easily learn new tools and adapting them to the needs
- The ability to handle a changing environment and high workload.
- Good people skills in order to coach and guide developers to ensure that processes, policies and guidelines are being followed.
- Securing an effective process for configuration management
- Making sure that process is supported by relevant tools.
- Govern the configuration management process and make sure it is followed
- Making sure that relevant configuration management plans exist and are updated
- Continuously reviewing efficiency/quality and improving the processes
- Support team members in resolving issue in the processes
