Front End Web Developer
Requirements:
- Experience in translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application
- Proficient in understanding of web mark-up, including HTML5, CSS3, and basic understanding of Server Side CSS pre-processing platforms, client-side Scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
- Good understanding of advanced JavaScript such as AngularJS, NodeJS, Bootstrap CSS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Experience in Agile development methodology
- Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
- Docker experience
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
Job description:
- Translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application
- Working with the UI/UX designer, to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works
- Develop new user-facing features
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to Back End
- Work with Technical Architects and Business Analysts to create robust, scalable software
- Participate in full Agile development methodology practices
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Follow company programming standards during the software development process.
- Produce detailed technical/testing documentation, as per company standards describing the new system and/or enhancements.
- Provide accurate estimates as part of the Agile Sprint process
