Front End Web Developer

Requirements:

  • Experience in translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application
  • Proficient in understanding of web mark-up, including HTML5, CSS3, and basic understanding of Server Side CSS pre-processing platforms, client-side Scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
  • Good understanding of advanced JavaScript such as AngularJS, NodeJS, Bootstrap CSS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS, partial page updates, and AJAX
  • Experience in Agile development methodology
  • Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
  • Docker experience
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them

Job description:

  • Translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application
  • Working with the UI/UX designer, to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works
  • Develop new user-facing features
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to Back End
  • Work with Technical Architects and Business Analysts to create robust, scalable software
  • Participate in full Agile development methodology practices
  • Implementation of security and data protection
  • Follow company programming standards during the software development process.
  • Produce detailed technical/testing documentation, as per company standards describing the new system and/or enhancements.
  • Provide accurate estimates as part of the Agile Sprint process
