Description
We are looking for a PHP Developer to work in a small, exciting and fast paced development team. Our current focus is building software to buy and sell domains. We are a marketplace for unique high valued domain names. This developer role will primarily be working on one ecommerce website and it’s various scalable projects. There may be other projects that we will ask for collaboration on as we have a partnership with a digital marketing firm (SEO.com). We are looking for a self-driven, hardworking, and focused developer.You must have 3-5 years experience writing PHP code, as well as expert knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, SQL and Git. Experience working in a Linux environment is a huge bonus. Remote work is absolutely fine.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years as a PHP Developer
- Solid knowledge and experience in object oriented programming
- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, automated build tooling would be awesome
- Be able to hold your head up with MySQL commands. Must understand how to create SQL statements.
- Dedicated team player
- Requires high proficiency in both written and verbal communication
- Requires high degree of independent judgement and problem solving of complex problems
- Willingness to learn new technologies and practices.
- Solid LAMP experience.
- Experience with GIT or other version control systems.
Preferred:
- Experience in a PHP Framework (Laravel or Codeigniter). We utilize Laravel.
- Familiarity with Bootstrap and LESS/SASS
