(SC) Red Hat Engineer - Aldershot - RHEL Upgrade
Red Hat/RHEL/Upgrade/AIX/Ansible/Puppet
I am looking for a Red Hat Engineers to join Architecture and Engineering teams on a Project upgrading approximately 260 Servers from RedHat 5.3, 5.4 or 5.7 to RedHat 5.11 with minimal business impact.
Responsibilities will include;
- RedHat 5.x to 5.11 planning and upgrade
- Creating RedHat standard build for deployment
- Updating (and creating where required) technical documentation
- Review and remediate vulnerability scan information against RedHat systems
Essential Skills:
- RedHat 5.3, 5.4, 5.7, 5.11 and above
- AIX
- Tibco
- Ansible, Puppet
- RedHat Kickstart
- Mondo
- IBM x3550/x3650 M2/M3
- Apache
Environments include Dev, Sit, Integration, Pre-Production and Production.
Likely to include some out of hours work when upgrading production systems
Ideal Candidates will hold Home Office SC Level Clearance or Active SC Level Clearance.
