Business Rules Analysis and Configuration Consultant - Dublin - £ p/d (Can be paid in Euros)Spargonet Consulting, an IT Services Consultancy, is seeking a Consultant with strong analysis and configuration experience to join our rapidly expanding personable team, with the first assignment to be based in Dublin.

Job Responsibilities:
Working Within Enterprise Security Team (Part of Payments Side)
Score payments and write rules that add to scoring or declining transactions
Configure and use IBM ODM to create Business Rules
Oracle/SQL to check and test rules and customer tickets
Mandatory Skills:
- High-energy and detail-oriented, with the ability to function under pressure in an independent environment
- Lots of initiative and self-motivation to drive results
- Good at organizing and planning for several concurrent initiatives with conflicting needs
Strong knowledge of object-oriented architecture, design and development - Experienced with technologies such as SQL, Oracle, business rule engines
- Direct experience with the development of custom software applications and services across a variety of technology selections and frameworks
- Experience of analysis and configuration of a Business rules systems and processes, ideally having used IBM ODM, to create Business Rules
- Good understanding of OO Principles
- Strong Oracle/SQL
- Happy to take ownership and responsibility of problem resolution being the 2nd, 3rd and final level of support
- Positive Collaborative approach
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels
- Working knowledge of an agile scrum environment
- Experience with multiple OO languages
- Financial Services or Payments experience
