DevOps/Release Engineer

My client are currenlty seeking a DevOps/Release Engineer to work in Belgium for 6 months initially.

(Fench and/or Dutch speaking is required; English is required for written communication).

Required skills:

  • Setup of automated and continuous release and deployment process (eg: Jenkins, Docker)
  • Clouding
  • Test methodologies and tools (Java technologies)
  • Agile (Scrum)

Targets

  • Lower the time and effort spent on releases
  • Increase quality of our releases
  • Evolve towards cloud deployment

Role and responsibilities

  • Lead project team to evolve towards cloud deployment
  • Accountable/Responsible for the release management life cycle of multiple applications inside our portfolio
  • Improve delivery management by providing tools and services to development team
  • Work in collaboration with development and operation teams
