NK189 Project Leader with Consolidated IT asset inventory: Banking, Brussels

Background

The assessment of the framework related to the identification of the Critical asset has been reviewed, leading to the need to review and roll-out the whole Critical Asset list, gradually. This analysis is key in order to scope and identify properly the assets to protect for each CRP initiatives.
In parallel one needs to implement improvements related to the Banks CMDB coverage and quality.
Role involves:

The chosen candidate will provide support for the following, non-exhaustive, activities in relation with the Asset Inventory improvements in the bank.
Get knowledgeable about the Criticality Assessment framework, understanding well the ADM (applications, Logical Data components) related elements
Support and help the roll-out of this framework within the clients stakeholders, participating to the Criticality assessment process, for instance, help to produce and provide training/'education' sessions on the criticality assessment framework
Collect current Asset documentation and prepare list of assets/artefacts for further reviews and improvements by the ADM application experts (AO/ADO) - first through a Pilot and afterwards roll-out it out through all banks entities
Set-up and facilitate workshops/meetings to collect those lists of elements and artefacts (for instance: the Logical Data components, criticality assessment, Access management artefact's - user interfaces, CMDB quality and coverage assessment). When necessary set-up and follow-up actions.
Act as a librarian (to assure quality, exhaustiveness) for those lists. And, as soon as the tool is available, assure that these lists ends up in the defined repository (BMC/Mega). Provide first line support on any inquiry on those lists (and more particularly the Asset Critical List).
Manage the publication of the Critical Asset List (at least on a quarterly basis)
Collect improvement request
Support and contribute to the identification of the current PLC process improvements
Support and contribute to the identification of the additional applicative security guidelines

This job is mainly located in Brussels and the resource may require (occasionally) to travel for some of the activities to other banks locations (EUI - London, ESES - Paris , Efi - Helsinki, ESw - Stockholm). Its main stakeholders will be AO/ADO's on an ADM point of view, ADM DE Methods representative, CT PL's (related to CRP initiatives), Business Service Owners or delegate (for the Criticality assessment). More particularly s/he will have contacts with all the CRP initiatives to provide support and assure their good understanding of the Criticality assessment framework.

This resource will work under the supervision of the CRP CITAI (Consolidated IT Asset Inventory) Project Leader and the Information System Architect Lead on this topic.

Requirement

It is clearly an added value to get a profile which has the following previous experiences as a Analyst/Asset Manager

- to get some background expertise on Application development practices
- Application design expertise so 4 to 5 years experience is required in that area
as Method Specialist (or expertise on this area acquired through other activities) - to get knowledge about PLC and related ADM processes.

Coordination, organizational, Interpersonal skills are key skills to have.
