We are expanding our team of skilled writers to write reviews for products ranging from steam irons to tablets, pet food to chainsaws. We are seeking writers for three different types of assignments:- In-depth evergreen article writers who examine a product category in depth, from how it's used to its features and FAQ, plus some in-depth highlights of specific models on the market. - "Matrix" writers who select the best of the best products available in a certain category (i.e. Toaster Ovens) through researching existing product information, ratings, and consumer reviews. - Syndicated content writers who write new versions of reviews that appear on our site for other media publications with with we have partnerships, such as SFGate and the Houston Chronicle. These reviews include a 3 product matrix (top 3 picks) and either an evergreen article OR a short FAQ. words. Our writers are given a set of product categories among which they can choose the ones they are most experienced with. Next, they conduct deep research on the product category and analyze the reviews on the top models. Finally, the research is synthesized into an original and non-biased recommendation. In the end, we are trying to help our readers make the ideal choice within a given product category without having to do all the research themselves.
We have a preference for writers who have experience writing about consumer-facing products. Experience writing reviews (even if it was done in a non-professional capacity) is a plus.
- Pay is $25 for matrix and FAQ syndicated articles (item 2 and 3 above); $100 for evergreen articles (item 1 above).
- Writers work from home and get feedback from an editor.
