Accountant - CIC & Marketing

CIC & Marketing Accountant required for a telecoms giant in Slough

Our team is responsible for accounting re: c£2b+ pa on Customer Investment Costs ("CIC") and Marketing. You will be part of a team of c8.Most of which are qualified accountants.

Your responsibilities can be summarised in 3 ways:

Clear, clean and efficiently managed month end. This includes ability to "Tell the Story" re what has hit the P&L and Balance Sheet

Ensuring compliance with accounting, legal and professional standards, materially reflect contractual and business reality,

Develop and improve the speed, accuracy and insight of accounting models (eg Ensure benefits of ACE and Marketing Dashboard are unlocked including variable contribution, segment and partner splits), communicating these insights appropriately

Improve understanding the blended rates, expected commitment in terms of Goods and Services, T&C's etc.

Interrogation of source data (eg volumes), the business trackers (eg Priority Moments), and the financials (P&L and BS)

Question, understand and explain material movements

Building strong and healthy relationships with key stakeholders

Excellent communication skills (Includes presentations)
Excellent reasoning skills
Advanced Excel skills including Model improvements (Beneficial)
Company with a Global Brand and/or Big 4 CA
Accounting Month End
Technical accounting and experience with commercial agreements (Beneficial)
