Project Finance Accountant - Northampton
This is an excellent opportunity to join a Top Tier Bank in Northampton as a Project Finance Accountant.
The role holder will be required to:
- Ensure we at all times have robust, detailed and comprehensive plans through to conclusion of the project
- Challenge plans to ensure they accurately represent likely outcomes and ensure that we do not have risk of ungrounded challenge.
- Ensure clear communication of timelines, processes and key milestones
- Prepare summary information for the senior members of Steerco or other key stakeholders to the highest standards.
- Act as a liaison between Finance and the Change Delivery programme, understanding delivery plans and ensuring that Finance are always "at the table" for all key decisions. Challenge decisions being made and work to ensure that the programme is delivered on time and to budget
- Establish and lead on effective, detailed, insightful reporting for ECL for both delivery and future performance post go-live
- Oversee the project from a financial point of view to ensure we remain in governance at all times in relation to spend approvals.
Key skills/experience:
Essential
- Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA
- Banking experience
- Strong Excel, word and access knowledge
