Testing Engineer (Device Development)A Testing Engineer is required to join the new device development team at our leading, global pharmaceutical/medical device client. The successful candidate will work in the new product development team to support the testing and improvement of new prototypes.
To support the design and development of a new medical device for medical product delivery:
• Support review and testing of new prototypes including tolerance testing, device assembly, dose distribution/accurate dosing, ability to dismantle or break device.
• Write reports on findings and communicate with relevant stakeholders.
• Work with the development engineers to suggest and develop improvements.
• Support with the creation of relevant regulatory submission documentation.
• Help the team with developing methods of testing for new prototypes.
Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Medical Device testing for new products highly desirable.
• Previous design experience of medical device products advantageous.
• Experience applying technical knowhow to new areas, technologies or products. Methodical, rigorous and with strong attention to detail.
• Open minded approach to problem solving and development projects.
• Strong communication abilities, able to work well in a team or individually.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis is an advantage.
• German and English language skills required.
