Description
Our world leading semiconductor partner is currently looking for a Data Design Engineer to join them on a long term contract basis in Germany, tasked with tooling implementation and executing design data tasks and methodologies, working with other designer teams in Germany, Netherlands and India. In addition, my client would expect the Data Design Engineer to be able to help with other Configuration Management tasks (secondary role), such as Storage Management, Document Management and Change Control.Job Requirements
• Strong UNIX Programming Languages and scripting, including Shell programming (Bash, Tcl) and Perl
• Good knowledge of Linux Operating system, commands and environment
• Knowledge of revision control systems/tools for hardware development (Design Sync, Clearcase, Subversion for example)
• Knowledge of hardware IC development, design flows and digital / analog / mixed signal design project development is a nice to have, but not a must
• Experience in Configuration Management environment, methodologies, tools and processes implementation for development projects (nice to have)
• Focus on execution rather than management or project leading
• Languages: English (must) and German (nice-to-have)
• Ability to work on multi-site environments and communicate with stakeholders in multiple countries and sites
• Self-motivated, goal driven person
