An excellent opportunity has arisen for a well established Financial Services organization for a Business Process Analyst (6 Month Contract)
Identify the strengths, weaknesses, risks and inefficiencies in the current operational processes in Account Opening and Maintenance, Trade Confirmations and Contract Notes, Settlement, Custody, Dividends, Corporate Actions and Nominee Reconciliations.
Propose and recommend enhancements aimed at delivering a first class, 'right first time', but cost effective service, including the potential to use workflow software/functionality.Principal Activities
Business Process Map current processes using Visio software.Identify strengths, weaknesses, risks and inefficiencies in the current operational processes
Conduct market research on workflow software.Identify potential enhancements to processes.Make recommendations to enhance processes.Revise Business Process Map processes and make accessible to staff (on the intranet) in PDF format.Update procedural docs to reflect enhancements and make accessible to staff (on the intranet) in PDF format.

Personal Profile:
The job holder will be a CISI Member, with a detailed understanding and experience of post trade processes, Visio process mapping and standard Microsoft Office software. Must have a creative, logical and disciplined mind, able both to assimilate, analyse and document existing business processes and to visualise and map out those still in the planning stage. The job holder will be a thorough administrator, with good presentation and communication skills. S/he must have received appropriate training (e.g. holder of the CISI Diploma in Investment Operations qualification or similar) combined with extensive experience as a securities industry professional, in the following: private client wealth management/stockbroking operations, business process re-engineering and business analysis. Ideally the role holder will have a detailed knowledge and experience of Pulse software, including Symphony. S/he will have acquired a broad knowledge of private client wealth management/stockbroking and retail investment services/products in general. The role holder should have strong interpersonal qualities, with strong written / oral communication skills, able to liaise effectively with management and staff at all levels.
