Our direct Fortune 500 client in the financial services industry is looking for a Business Analyst for a 6 month contract (with likely extensions) at their location in Warren, NJ.Responsible for business requirements, definition and documentation for new and changed application deliverables.
Understand, review, analyze and evaluate business needs.
Act as a liaison between business partners and IT development team.
Scope, elicit, analyze and document business requirements for both new and existing applications using a variety of techniques and tools.
Define and manage assigned requirements anticipating issues and proactively recommending solutions.
Coordinate and collaborate across business and technology functions to ensure comprehensive solutions are designed.
Required:
- Insurance industry experience (preferably P&C)
- Must be experienced with the entire systems development life cycle, experience with Agile and Use Case methodologies would be helpful.
- Strong experience gathering business requirements, defining and documentation for new and changed application deliverables. (BRD's, FSD's, TSD's)
- Bachelors Degree preferred and at least 4 years of experience in a systems analysis environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Communication and interpersonal skills including ability to consult with internal and external customers regarding matters/issues which may be sensitive in nature.
- Ability to work with all levels of an organization including people with different styles and background, and ability to work as a member of a team.
- Proven problem solving skills.
Plusses:
- Completion of IIBA CBAP or other certification program Highly Desired
