We are seeking a Business Analyst who has extensive experience with HRIS system conversions, specifically with Payroll and Compensation Modules. This position will be responsible for leading the Payroll and Compensation portion of an HR System conversion. This position will provide consulting and process design services for the payroll module functionality in the implementation of an enterprise level HR/Payroll System. Duties include assessment, analysis, and recommendation of processes and workflows based on best practices and multi-departmental requirements.

Daily responsibilities will include: 

  • Working with the Payroll and Compensation teams to determine strategic and tactical goals for the implementation project
  • Create and maintain project schedules and manage scope
  • Estimate time requirements and establish deadlines for the Payroll Module Conversion
  • Manage Payroll team member assignments including coordination with other departments to ensure the availability of the team member
  • Develop and present effective management reports
  • Developing and documenting step-by-step procedures for all payroll-related processes, recommending alternatives to improve functionality or effectiveness of the Payroll Office or interaction with other groups
  • Facilitating cross-functional meetings to review current practice and to develop improved processes for the IT implementation team
  • Participating in end-to-end testing of all processes
  • Providing training to payroll staff on the new system's functionality and procedures 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with HRIS conversions
  • Experience with payroll operations of large employers
  • A Bachelor Degree is required for this position
  • Experience with running parallel testing
  • Experience with position control is highly desired
  • 3+ years of experience with Excel (advanced level functionality - V-lookups, Pivot Tables, etc.)
  • Proficient with facilitating project status meetings
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • No Relocation is offered for this position, therefore local candidates are preferred.
