We are looking for a
Network Engineer (m/f)

Your tasks:
  • Full SAP office LAN equipment refresh
  • Perform re-IP of existing hybris Infrastructure to SAP IP scopes
  • Reconfigure existing networks to SAP IP standards with minimal downtimes
  • Unrack existing gear (After hours)
  • Rack configure and turn up new gear onsite to include (After hours)
  • Assist Vendors with installation of peripheral network equipment (off hours)
  • Deploy HP Tippingpoint IPS
  • Nexus/NXOS Switch configurations
  • Riverbed WAN Acceleration appliances
  • Configure firewalls as needed to support server DMZ networks
  • Document all work to hybris/SAP standards


Your qualifications
  • CCNP or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in building Router and Switch configurations on various Cisco Switching and Routing platforms including (but not limited to): Cisco ASR 1000 and 2821 Routers, Catalyst 6500, 3750X, 2960c, and 4500 switches
  • Additional optional skills:
  • Fortinet Firewalls and HP switching technologies
  • Linux (Debian), HP-UX, AIX, Windows
  • Basic hypervisor technologies, experience with OpenNebula prefered
  • DNS, IP Addressing, Subnet Masks, Routing, & Gateways as applicable to servers and a Data Center environment
  • Settings and Configuration of printers and other office devices
  • Ability to perform technical server validation (Ping, Telnet, NFS/CIFS Mounts, Trust Relationships, etc.)
  • Ability to follow precise directions while contributing expertise to solve problems on the fly
