An IC Validation Engineer is needed for a global leading semiconductor organisation on a contract basis in the Netherlands. My client is a leading chip integration and validation laboratory. They design integrated circuits for all business units and business lines, being Automotive related, Identification related or emerging business projects.Main responsibilities:
The IC Validation Engineer is responsible for:
• Set-up and execute automated validation and testing of IC’s.
• Analyse measurement results and propose fixes for bugs found.
• Write MatLab based automated equipment programs.
• Write scripts using Python language.
• Do test requirements / test results administration (e.g. in DOORS)
• Create English written documentation
• Support designers and verification engineers
Expected Skills
• MSc./BSc. in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience in IC validation and/or verification.
• Skilled in working with all kinds of test equipment.
• Knowledge of IC-design, digital background preferred.
• Knowledge of scripting languages, preferably Python.
• Verilog / VHDL RTL knowledge is a preference.
• Good communication skills, team player, driver mentality, pro-active attitude.
• Networking skills, creative, motivating, curious, open minded.
• Able to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Fluent English speaker.
