Description
A high calibre Websphere MQ Administrator is required by my client based within a prestigious banking client based in Halifax, Copley. This established bank that has a growing demand for a specialist IBM developers and administrator in Websphere MQ who have previously worked within a systems upgrade capacity. You will have the opportunity with this upgrade from v6 to v7.This is a fantastic opportunity for a Websphere MQ Administrator to work with a very strong team that is growing in size this year; you will have the opportunity to conduct workshops with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate in to scenarios and define the data analysis steps.
With interviews taking place immediately this role requires someone who understands Websphere MQ v7 and is fully capable of understanding the associated technologies and the related standards and policies used to govern these technologies. You will also need strong experience in using Websphere MQ on AIX, Linux and windows platforms.
This is a contract position with the rates up to £450pd
Essential skills:
- IBM Websphere MQ Admistration in an upgrade capacity v7 would be highly desirable.
- MQ on zMainframe as this is the main platform which is used within the area
- Experience in delivering complex projects /or incident recoveries is highly desirable too.
- Investment banking is not mandatory however it is highly desirable.
