Description
CultureConnect is looking for a smart, driven Lead .NET Developer to architect and manage our software platform. As a core member of the product team, you'll be responsible for the development of a web-based content management system that builds web apps for museums. You'll have the opportunity to work with museums and cultural institutions to bring beautiful, engaging mobile experiences to visitors and students across the country.
You will work closely with the CEO and Chief Product Officer to develop the product roadmap and execute on product deliverables. We're looking for someone who loves to think big - this role offers the opportunity to have a significant impact on technology decisions and influence the final product.

building products that empower museums and cultural institutions to create their own mobile apps an early but growing company based in New York and New Orleans arts, technology and e-commerce veterans with a passion for making the arts and culture accessible to everyone
Skills & Requirements:
You:
Are eager to contribute to the strategic direction of CultureConnect's technology stack Can communicate and collaborate, on a daily basis, with business stakeholders, creative teams, front-end and QA Are comfortable with all layers of the stack and can move from back-end to front if required Recognize and appreciate good design, and strive to build pleasing aesthetics into your own practice Have written clean, scalable code in a professional environment Have experience architecting systems for growth and sustainability Have strong experience with ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server and MVC Are well-versed in HTML/CSS, Javascript and jQuery Understand cross-browser compatibility Have experience with performance tuning and optimization Can work effectively with remote team members
Bonus Points If:
you've been to more than one museum in the past year you've already worked for an early stage company you have experience with QA and automated testing you live in or near New York or New Orleans (not a requirement)
