Description
My client is seeking a Software Testing/Automation engineer to join their team in Cambridge. The project will initially last for 3 months but is very likely to extend as the hiring manager has made it clear this will be a long term project and you can expect to earn £380 - £400 per day for this project (depending on your relevant experience).Responsibilities:
Take specific responsibility for maintaining and supporting the project specific automated test infrastructure which has been developed in-house and comprises both software and hardware components.
*To ensure the smooth running of the automated test suites, through maintenance and creation of scripts to drive the test framework.
*To maintain and expand the development board farm.
*To provide test infrastructure support to the development engineers.
The successful candidate will be flexible, able to react quickly and pragmatically to issues raised by the development team, and ensure that the vital test infrastructure continues to run smoothly and continues to grow as the project progresses.

Desirable Skills & Experience
*Experience working with lab equipment, such as development boards.
*Experience in large, multi-site software development projects.
