Description
Architect with expertise in Cloud Infrastructure and Tools within the Telecoms industry is required for a 6 month contract assignment based in Stockholm.
The project is to facilitate the development, testing on cloud, a variety of tools and environment of cloud are needed. The plan is to build a company level cloud environment and tool chains for supporting development, testing for cloud and big data products.
Tasks will include:
-Definition of R&D tool chains and environment architecture for the cloud and big data products based on the products from radio network, fixed network including Routers, enterprise infrastructure, consumer devices such as smart phones, tablets etc.
-Leading a team to analyse and break down the R&D tool and environment architecture.
-Identifying and explore technology evolvement trends and potential business value.
-Guide and influence R&D teams to lift up the development (including R&D, test, environment and method).
-Conduct industry best practice and gap analysis, provide new ideas and improvement roadmaps, implementation strategies and planning.
The ideal candidate should have:
-Expertise in environment and tools design.
-Architecture expertise in the field of Cloud and Big Data.
-At least 15 years experience in R&D and Test.
-Indepth knowledge of Internet or network product and solution design and testing.
-More than 5 years experience building Cloud environments.
-Experience from the tier 1 telecom operators, providers or IT companies.
Please note: You must also be prepared to travel to China for 50% of your time.
