FunctionalAnalyst - European Commission - Brussels
For one of our projects at the European Institutions in Brussels, we are urgently looking for a Senior Analyst.
Main tasks:
- Respond rapidly to incoming defects and change requests to find possible workarounds;
- Review existing analysis and clarify implementation aspects;
- Project management tasks including effort, timescales and resource estimation, requirements analysis, review of deliverables, quality control, risk analysis and management, status reports and problem reporting;
- Detailed analysis of user requirements and change requests;
- Write use cases;
- Apply analysis modelling techniques and best practices;
- Produce the relevant documentation for the support team;
- Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system;
- Participation in meetings with the users;
- Assist in the preparation of training material;
- Animation of and participation in weekly status meetings.
For this role you need to have experience in:
· Minimum 8 years of experience in IT, with a University1
· Excellent knowledge in IT Project Management;
· Excellent knowledge of Modelling techniques and languages, e.g. UML, RSA;
· Excellent drafting skills;
· Knowledge in Service Oriented Architecture;
· Knowledge of integration, build and test tools;
The next are considered assets:
- Knowledge of EC financial regulation and/or financial background is a strong asset.
Languages:
Fluent in English and French is an asset
Others:
Capability of integration in an international/multicultural team environment
