TABLEAU MI Data Analyst - Fixed Income - Investment Bank
Management information (MI) Data Analyst (Tableau Software) is required who will have Expert knowledge of Tableau software. Investment banking experience is also essential for this role ideally with Fixed Income experience.
Role:
The team sits within the Fixed Income Data Office, providing management information (MI) to various business groups. The data and reports are then used for analysis and support the decision making process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Production of MI reports primarily using Tableau as a tool
- Liaise with data providers to solve data issues
- Contribute to the annual budget and forecast process
- Contribute to the implementation of improvements to the MI systems: eg testing, validation of feeds etc.
- Facilitate good communication flow with Marketers, Business Managers, Finance and Management etc.
- Ensure other locations are up-to-date with all London driven projects and enhancements
Systems Improvements
- Highlight possible interface issues between the client contribution systems & other systems
- Organise the information flow
- Draft project specifications
- Follow up and co-ordinate development tasks
Must also have Expert knowledge of Excel, Fixed Income products business knowledge, Database modelling understanding and good knowledge of SQL. Good level of experience in a delivery focussed team. An excellent track record of data analysis work. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills as well as reporting capabilities. Strong communication and presentation skills both verbal and written. Be creative, innovative, pro-active and convincing in terms of finding solutions. Proactive and flexible approach to dealing with challenges. Management Information reporting experience within a Financial Institution; Middle Office, Finance or Front Office.
