Business Intelligence Analyst / Business Objects - Brussels
For one of our projects at the European Institutions in Brussels, we are urgently looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst.
Role:
The tasks to be performed cover the complete lifecycle of a BI information system analysis, construction, and maintenance.
Tasks:
- Analysis of the business requirements
- Perform technical analysis and produce technical documentation
- Implementation of data extraction, transformation and sourcing procedures
- Prototype and development of datamarts, BO business universes as well as BO custom reports
- Elaboration of test and validation procedures
- Assist with deployment and configuration of the system
- Assist and training to users in building custom reports
- Assist administrating datamarts and BO universes
- Assist with deployment and configuration of the system
- Participate in meetings with the internal and external services/partners
For this role you need to have experience in:
- Extended professional experience in handling similar Business Intelligence projects
- Experience with of Business Objects products (Reporting, Infoview, Designer, Supervisor), knowledge of QlikView BI and Idevio mapping tool are assets
- Experience with of relational database systems (SQL, PL/SQL).
- Experience with of modeling tools and reverse engineering tools for relational database
- Experience with of ETL process and available tools
- Experience with of software development methodologies (e.g. RUP)
Languages:
Fluent in English and French is an asset.
